ZOO Digital names Chieko Yamamoto as Territory Manager to drive expansion in the Japanese market

She will play a key role in fostering collaborations with local resources and supporting the growth of localization talent in the region. Chieko’s mission is to identify and nurture the next generation of talent in the dubbing industry, creating a more efficient and flexible talent pool with the integration of ZOO’s technology ecosystem and hybrid working capabilities.

During her tenure at Disney, Chieko played a crucial role in the regional launch of Disney+. As content operation manager, she oversaw the localization of English and international content, local originals, and acquisition titles. Over her three decades in media localization, she has covered both creative and operational roles. In her most recent role, she played a key part in scouting and developing casting options for renowned talent in dubbing roles for Disney theatrical releases.
