At ZOO’s Annual General Meeting to be held later today, Roger Jeynes, Chairman, will make the following statement:
“At a time when the film and TV entertainment industry continues to undergo rapid change brought about by advances in consumer technologies, ZOO is well placed to deliver services and software that provide the means to improve operational performance, enhance product quality and reduce time to market for organisations throughout the industry. This is especially true of the areas of entertainment localisation, including subtitling, dubbing and captioning, and digital packaging for a wide range of online platforms such as iTunes, Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, where ZOO’s propositions are particularly strong.
“The diversification and expansion of our customer base mentioned in the full year results has continued to date. Significant clients increasingly recognise the strategic value in adopting ZOO’s platforms for the specification, production, fulfilment, repurposing and archive of localisation materials as digital distribution of content through a growing number of internet-based services becomes increasingly prevalent. This is presenting a number of exciting new opportunities and the Board is working to ensure that the Company can fully capitalise on this potential.
“ZOO’s differentiated, market-leading technology combined with its first class production services gives the Board confidence in our continuing growth and profitability and we remain cautiously optimistic about our prospects.”
